Tuesday 10/11

Today we went though our new vocabulary words and caught up a bit in the notebook.

Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions about the show and tell.  My plan is to make time for this on Fridays after our weekly tests.  I hope that I can get some presentations started next week.  Our first would be a presentation on a favorite toy.  Suggestions so far have focused on topics, and I am aware that not every kid will want to present every idea.  I do want to get everyone a chance to present, so if one topic doesn't excite the kids, I will give more ideas later.  I'm also working on a worksheet to help organize ideas and get kids started.  My idea is to not connect this to grades.  I hope that the kids can have fun with this and not feel the extra pressure of working for a score. 

If anyone has any more ideas about the presentation time I would love to hear.
