Welcome back everyone!
Today we introduced our new vocabulary. I'm trying something new with our vocabulary homework, and we spent time going over how I want the homework done. I asked the students to write the word next to the part of speech, then give an example sentence using the word. Finally, I had the students draw a picture illustrating their sentence. I hope that this will give the students more of a context to understand and remember the usage and meanings of the words. This should be done in the bubble books. Students should have already finished words 1-6 in class.
I plan to have a vocabulary test on Friday this week.
