reading list one

 During the parents day, I was asked for book recommendations for the students.  I have been looking around, and I thought some of these suggestions look pretty good. I also think that picking subjects the students are interested in is a good place to start.

My daughter enjoyed this series when she was in first grade.  It's more oriented toward girls I think, but anyone might enjoy it:

Dory Fantasmagory

I would also like to recommend Dr. Seuss.  The books are especially good for reading aloud and practicing phonics patterns.
